Domino finds out that an old lover has been kidnapped from a federal complex. She immediately begins planning a daring rescue!

Plot Summary

In Rio de Janeiro, Domino takes some time off from X-Force to really cut loose during Carnival. Yet, despite being on vacation, trouble seems to have followed her. What she thought was a short, creep clown ends up being Pico, her former jailer when she was imprisoned by Tolliver. He is cybernettically enhanced, but these upgrades are no match for her cunning. She soon incapacitates him, only to be approached by another short person: Puck.

Puck informs Domino that Milo Thurman has been brought in by Department H and things don't look so good for him. Domino is very concerned, as Milo is apparently the "one that got away". She quickly locates the building and overpowers the guards. She makes quick work of some mandroids before finding a hallway littered with shredded corpses.

Prior to Domino's entrance, Milo is being held at the mercy of Henry Peter Gyrich. Gyrich is displeased that Milo's warning powers haven't been as fruitful as needed. Domino finds the room Milo is supposed to be in, but she finds it empty - save for a copy of Dante's Inferno. Before she can figure out what happened to Milo, the answer shows up in the form of Lady Deathstrike.
